The recent Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards surveyed 168,000 travelers to cast votes on their favourite countries in the world. Canada ranked second in the top 10, beaten out only by Australia. Wanderlust is the UK’s leading travel magazine. More than 3 million votes were cast last year in the 23^rd annual awards. Participants were surveyed across 22 categories, including the most desirable countries. Certainly, it is understandable that Canada ranks so high with travelers.
